Manchester United legend Roy Keane has revealed in typically uncompromising fashion why he didn't speak to two former Old Trafford team-mates for months.
Keane was a key figure as captain of the Old Trafford dressing room, and was well known for his tough approach both on and off the pitch. Keane, who played 480 games for United was a big part of the club's success under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Republic of Ireland international played alongside many talented players at United, including members of the fabled Class of '92, who contributed hugely to the team's glory years. Giggs, who spent his whole career at United, became the dressing room leader after Keane left in 2005. However, there was a time when the pair didn't speak for half a year - and centre-back Gary Pallister received an even longer snub from Keane.

On the Stick to Football podcast, Keane explained: "Me and Palli [Pallister] didn't speak for about 12 months [after he left early during a night out]. You just have these disagreements. Palli's a good guy; I fell out with Giggsy [Giggs], he wouldn't do a function one time at the club - I was fuming with him. Me and Giggsy didn't speak for five or six months!"
Keane had a famous falling out with Ferguson before leaving United. This happened after Keane criticised his teammates in an interview on the club's TV channel, which led to a heated argument with Ferguson and his subsequent move to Celtic. David Gill, former Manchester United chief executive, said earlier this week that Keane's fallout with Ferguson and his exit was probably his biggest regret
