Emmerdale fans think Tom King is hiding something sinister - as they continue to fear for Belle Dingle. Viewers of the ITV soap have been suspicious of the character ever since his return to the village earlier this year and rekindled his romance with Belle.
Last week, they felt their suspicions had been proved right when Tom left Belle hurt. As all the focus was on the Dingles as Lydia questioned them over their alibis as rapist Craig Reed was found dead, Belle was heard saying where she had been at the time of Craig's death.
She revealed how Tom had popped the question in a romantic proposal. But as Mandy rushed to congratulate her and look at the ring, Belle told how she had rejected him. However, she failed to tell her family about what happened after she turned Tom down. Her boyfriend didn't take the news well, assuming it meant she didn't love him. And Tom soon turned angry with Belle as he attempted to storm out.

Belle tried to stop Tom from leaving but he violently pushed Belle, shouting 'leave me alone' as Belle hit her head on the table, leaving her on the floor shaken and bleeding. Tom was quick to apologise, insisting he would never do it again and he'd never want to hurt her.
The pair have since brushed over the incident and Belle has been supporting Tom following the loss of his mum. But during Monday night's trip to the Dales, viewers saw Tom putting off booking his flights as he planned on not going to his mother's funeral. Belle encouraged him to go an eventually said she'd go with him, to which Tom was pleased.
