Emmerdale fans 'work out' twist after shock death leaves Rhona blaming herself

Emmerdale fans think they have 'worked out' a potentially sinister twist after they were rocked by a shock death. Fans were stunned to discover Rhona Goskirk's ex-husband Gus had gone against her wishes and used their frozen embryos with his new wife, Lucy.
Earlier this year Rhona had to contend with the return of her ex-husband who pleaded with her to let them use their frozen embryos, which she had previously been reassured they had been destroyed, to become a dad after cancer treatment since their split left him unable to naturally conceive with Lucy.
After going back and forth over her decision, Rhona eventually declined to give her consent. But during one last return to the village earlier this year, where he ended up helping Rhona's mum Mary after she was left bleeding by con woman Faye, fans spotted Gus lingered before leaving the family's home and it has since been revealed that he had stolen Rhona's passport to be able to get access to the embryos they had stored together all those years ago.

It was her new husband Marlon Dingle who was the first to discover the truth as he left his hospital appointment, where he got discharged after suffering a stroke last year. And after initially keeping quiet, he eventually told Rhona the truth that Lucy was now pregnant and expecting a baby from one of the frozen embryos, leaving her horrified.
After toying with what to do next, Rhona demanded answers from Gus and when he failed to show up to a meeting they had arranged, she headed to his house in the hope she could find him and finally confront
