As The Traitors season two officially got underway on Wednesday 3 January, fans of the mystery challenge show were delivered a shocking twist at the end of the first episode, when it was revealed that a brand new Traitor was hiding in plain sight after having personally been selected by their fellow contestants. Initially, three contestants had been chosen by host Claudia Winkleman to act as the Traitors and “kill” the Faithfuls one by one, however in a surprise twist this series, the final Traitor was to be hand selected by the Traitors themselves. While the first episode didn’t reveal the identity of the mystery person, the second episode did, and unveiled to fans at home that Miles Asteri had been chosen to join Harry, Paul and Ash in the hopes of securing victory and outsmarting the Faithfuls.
