Coronation Street fans were left taken aback by Gary Windass during the latest visit to Weatherfield. The resident bad boy has been a mainstay on the cobbles since Mikey North made his debut in the role back in 2008.
Fans of the ITV soap have seen the builder turned debt collector Gary become a soap villain after causing the death of Rana Habeeb in the Underworld factory sabotage before killing gangster Rick Neelan and taking in his teenage daughter Kelly Neelan before she left the street after hiring a hitman to see Gary off.
This day, viewers are seeing Gary live a more settled life with wife Maria, his son Jake and his stepson Liam Connor. But as Corrie fans know, Liam is having a tough time both in and out of school as his bullying hell ramps up.
