Coronation Street viewers express 'wish' as they're left frustrated over latest soap shake-up

Coronation Street viewers have spoken of their 'wish' as they were left frustrated over the show's latest news. Fans of the ITV soap are used to getting their cobbles fix at 8pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday night.
However, there have been a few changes of late which have seen those who closely follow the long-running sop without their trip to Weatherfield for almost a week at a time.
And now this week looks set to put Corrie fans in the same predicament with another change to the usual schedule. This week, the soap will air its three episodes of the week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, meaning a five-day wait between the last episode of the week and the first of next.

But that isn't the only change as not only will Corrie be on on Tuesday but it'll also air at the later time of 9pm until 10pm. Confirming the changes, Corrie shared on social media: "Here to let you know about a slight schedule change this week," alongside a schedule for fans of the soap.
And it didn't take long for the comments to start flooding in. @lisa_hartley5 said: "Wish ITV would stop doing this!!!!" @sweens.9 commented: "Ffs. Not again. Tuesday at 9." Jan Walsh fumed on Facebook: "Thanks...... flipping football AGAIN." Lee Ellane added: "Ruined my weekly viewing... Friday evening of football no doubt."
