Coronation Street fans find Lauren's 'mystery boyfriend' amid intimidating Roy scenes

Coronation Street fans think they have spotted Lauren Bolton's 'mystery boyfriend' in recent scenes as the investigation into her disappearance - and possible murder - continues. The teen hasn't been seen in the ITV soap in more than three weeks.
Lauren was last seen on the cobbles on February 23 before she seemingly left the cobbles abruptly after mentioning a possible exit to former boss Roy Cropper. The much-loved character had visited her flat with her wages after he sacked her from her role at the café for stealing from customer Bethany Platt's bag.
But Roy ended up being the last person to see Lauren before she suddenly disappeared and has put him in the picture as the prime suspect behind her disappearance and what is being considered as her murder after blood was found in her flat.

Last week, there were worrying scenes as Roy was dragged in to the police station for questioning by DS Swain and while he was released with a curfew pending further investigation, his freedom was hanging in the balance.
During Monday night's first trip of the week to Weatherfield, viewers saw many of the street's residents showing concern and support for Roy. But things got particularly scary when he was locked inside a Roys Rolls with two dodgy men who had been sent by Lauren's dad, Reece, to interrogate him.
It came after Max Turner decided to secretly pay Reece a visit in prison, where he grilled him about his daughter's whereabouts and accidentally let slip that Roy had been suspected of Lauren's murder.
