Following the huge success of the third series, BBC's Blankety Blank has been recommissioned for a further two series. Bradley Walsh be returning as host for both series, which will each contain 10 episodes. Each episode sees Bradley, 63, joined by six famous faces, who will aim to help four contestants try to win some very unique prizes.
Contestants are faced with a series of statements with missing blanks, which they must try to fill. Should their answer match with the celebrities, they are in with a chance to take home the goods on offer. Prizes in the past have included an inflatable hot tub and a garden shed.
Those who are not lucky enough to guess correctly receive the iconic consolation prize - a Blankety Blank pen and chequebook.
Blankety Blank regularly pulls in audiences of up to 4.1 million and is frequently the most-watched programme in its evening time slot. Huge names have also appeared on the show, with the third series seeing Alison Hammond, Rob Beckett, Sue Perkins, Rylan Clark and Babatunde Aleshe all take part. Speaking on the recommission, Bradley Walsh said: “I tell you what, there isn’t a show quite like Blankety Blank – it’s absolutely brilliant fun from start to finish.
The celebrities will come up to me after a record and tell me how much fun they had filming, but more importantly, so do the contestants.
