‘Beef’ to Stew in Limited/Anthology Series Category for This Year’s Emmys

Ryan Murphy is diving into the psyche of not one, but two, infamous killers for Season 2 of Netflix‘s hit Monster anthology series.

UPDATED: Succession‘s Sarah Snook will likely be submitted in the Lead Actress in a Drama Series category for the 2023 Primetime Emmy nominations, Deadline has learned. Snook, who portrays Shiv in the Emmy-winning series has submitted in the supporting actress category for the previous three seasons, securing nominations for seasons 2 and 3. Snook received Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards for her performance in the role in 2022, along with a SAG Award nomination. Her reps would not confirm that any decision has been made.

The most beloved anthology series on TV, “Black Mirror,” is finally returning to Netflix for Season 6. And in a new teaser, it looks like the humor, darkness, and satire are all still intact.

Kieran Culkin will be submitted in the lead actor in a drama series category for the 2023 Primetime Emmy nominations for his role as Roman in HBO’s Succession, Deadline has confirmed.

This marks a category switch for the actor, who previously submitted in the supporting categories for the three previous seasons. Roman has come to the forefront during this fourth and final season of the show, leading the way on the Waystar-GoJo deal with his siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Shiv (Sarah Snook).

The dark comedy, which scored a 99% certified fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, managed to rank in the Top 10 in 61 countries following its April 6 premiere date.
