A contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire was left stunned in an episode when he called his wife for the 'Phone a Friend' lifeline and another man answered. JP Morgan, a science teacher from Lincoln, was hoping his wife could help him with a £16,000 question about Germany, but was in for a nasty shock when she was called from the studio.

Despite the unexpected twist, Jeremy reassured JP, saying: "That was another man just answered your phone, relax, relax, it could be completely innocent." The question JP was faced with was: "Which of these days is part of the weekend in Germany?" The options were A) Donnerstag, B) Mittwoch, C) Sonntag, or D) Dienstag. Back in 2020, when he made his appearance on the show, Morgan said: "My wife's auntie has lived in Germany for over 50 years, my wife's been there a few times.
My wife, who at different times would probably have been in the audience, is at home as one of my Phone a Friends." Jeremy asked: “Shall we call Elizabeth?” Waiting on Elizabeth, both Jeremy and JP were surprised when a male voice answered the phone. However, Elizabeth then came to the phone and Jeremy continued: "Can I just confirm that you've got someone there with you?" One fan posted on X: "Break time question: who was the man that answered the phone when JP phoned his wife? #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire." Another chimed in with: "Well that's one way to expose your wife's a cheat..
