Elsa Keslassy International CorrespondentYes Studios, the Tel Aviv-based producer and distributor behind hit series “Fauda” and “Shtisel,” has appointed Sharon Levi as managing director. Levi’s appointment follows the exit of Danna Stern, who spent two decades at the Israeli broadcaster. Levi, who is joining the Israeli banner from ITV Studios-owned Armoza Format, will take the lead of Yes Studios’ distribution and co-production arm.
Levi has over 20 years of experience in music and television. While at Armoza Formats, she oversaw various deals with Fox, NBC, Netflix and the BBC, among others.Yes Studios’ roster includes “As We See It,” the Jason Katims’ helmed adaptation of the award-winning series “On the Spectrum” which just premiered on Amazon and garnered strong reviews. Other adaptations handled by Yes Studios include the U.S.
remake of the best-selling global format “Your Honor” which stars Emmy winner Bryan Cranston and has just been renewed. The company’s hit family drama Shtisel has been a tremendous success with Season 3 streaming on Netflix, while the anticipated fourth season of “Fauda” is scheduled to launch on Yes TV in Israel in mid-2022. The show will be available to stream on Netflix worldwide.

Elsa Keslassy International CorrespondentThe relentless 15-year hunt for Adolf Eichmann, the notorious high-ranking Nazi criminal who fled Germany at the end of WW2 and hid in Argentina with his family, will be charted in a thriller series by Rose Bosch (“1492: Conquest of Paradise,” “The Roundup”).Titled “The Capture,” the six-part English-language series is being produced by Marc Missonnier and Christine de Bourbon-Busset at Lincoln TV, the Paris-based banner behind “Mirages” and “Cheyenne & Lola.” The script is now completed and the veteran producers are getting ready to introduce the project to potential partners, including broadcasters and streamers.Bosch, a former investigative journalist who is passionate about history, previously wrote the script of Ridley Scott’s Christopher Columbus film “1492: Conquest of Paradise,” as well as penned and directed “The Roundup” which depicted the infamous Vel’ d’Hiv Roundup (Rafle du Vel’ d’Hiv) in Paris. The 2010 movie, which sheds light on the lesser-known mass arrest of Jews, including children, by French police in 1942 and their deportation in concentration camps, is still being studied in schools on top of being featured at the U.S.

Ehud Barak on War and Peace,” which centered on the former prime minister of Israel. Bar-Am was born in Berlin in 1930, but grew up in what became Israel, and across a five decade-long career as a photographer he documented many of the major episodes – in particular the wars – in the life of the young country, founded in 1948.

The con artist at the heart of Netflix's latest phenomenon, The Tinder Swindler, has vowed to share his side of the story.The documentary follows several women on their mission to track down the man who tricked them into giving him tens of thousands of dollars after meeting him on a dating app. Shimon Hayut, 31, known to his victims as Simon Leviev, is estimated to have stolen $10m (£7.4m) through expensive dates and manipulative ploys. He was arrested and sentenced to 15 months on fraud, theft and forgery charges in December 2019, but only served five months of his sentence, being released on 'good behaviour' in May 2020.

In an Instagram story posted on Friday, Hayut said he was preparing to tell his version of the story.
