Emergency services rushed to Windsor Castle after a car crash this morning - and shocking photos showed a Volvo vehicle smashed against the castle walls. Two other cars were also involved in the accident, which led to the road by the castle in the Berkshire town being closed by police and ambulances, reported The Mirror.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson, said: "Thames Valley Police received a report of a road traffic collision at 7.50am this morning (12/3) on Thames Street, Windsor.
The road is expected to be closed for some time." The castle, which is the oldest and biggest occupied castle in the world, was the official residence of the late Queen Elizabeth before she died in 2022. Yesterday Kate Middleton was seen traveling away from the grand home in a large 4x4 with husband Prince William, the first time she'd been seen in public since the Mother's Day photo editing scandal kicked off.
