Noel Gallagher on why he turned down the offer to present ‘Have I Got News For You’

Noel Gallagher reportedly turned down an offer to front Have I Got News For You. The ex-Oasis man admitted that he didn’t think the opportunity was “for him” and feared that he couldn’t hold his own against the show’s panellists.“I was actually asked to present Have I Got News For You, but I’d be so out of my depth with those guys who are like fucking amazingly funny and witty – Paul Merton and Ian Hislop and whoever else would be on it,” he told The Daily Star.“But like, you see people on Have I Got News For You and you just think, ‘Why are they on it?’“And they don’t say a thing because obviously they’ve not said anything funny and it’s just edited out and they just sit there and it’s just a pointless fucking exercise.“But I’ve been asked to do things like that and I’m always like, ‘No, it’s not for me’.”Gallagher previously told his friend Matt Morgan on his podcast that he’d also received offers from other comedy shows in the past.

Gwyneth Paltrow Says Ask Marvel About Pepper Potts’ Return, Not Her: ‘Iron Man Died. Why Do You Need Pepper Without Iron Man?’

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Gwyneth Paltrow redirected one Marvel fan to studio executives after she was asked about no longer appearing as Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Paltrow debuted as the character in 2008’s “Iron Man,” the very first MCU movie. She had sizable roles in “Iron Man 2” and “Iron Man 3,” and she also appeared as Pepper in other MCU films such as “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (which she infamously forgot about) and “Avengers: Endgame.” The latter film marked her final MCU appearance for now.

Coconut milk nails is the newest manicure trend you need on your radar

It seems we can’t get enough of food-themed beauty trends right now, with strawberry and tomato girl summer makeup looks and blueberry nails dominating our inspiration boards, and it’s not slowing down any time soon. The latest manicure trend to hit social media is coconut milk nails, which are giving us all the last-minute summer vibes in a deliciously understated way. Spotted on celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Kim Kardashian, the milky manicure is all about giving your nails a semi-sheer wash of colour, and unlike the blueberry milk nails, this time you’ll want to stick to the creamy white hues of – you guessed it – coconut milk.
