Bolton Food and Drink Festival 2023: Traders, celebrity chefs, live music and everything else you need to know

More than 150 traders will be taking part in the 18th anniversary of Bolton Food and Drink Festival - known far and wide amongst foodie fans.
This year’s festival will feature everything from Indian street food to freshly-made cakes, with Spanish paella, Turkish Shawarma, and Greek Souvlaki thrown in for good measure.
Local, national and international traders including Little China Noodle Bar, Halloumination, The Great British Cheese Co, Thai 2 Go, The Dutch Fishmen, Wagamama, and The Bolton Gin Company will take up residency in Bolton town centre over the August bank holiday weekend.

There will also be Portuguese delights from Portu St Food, flapjacks from the Wilde Bakery, Polish BBQ from Dobra Kitchen, HMPasties, pulled pork at Roly Poly and scones, jam and clotted cream from Signature Scones. Naturally, Carrs Pasties will also be in attendance representing for Bolton and selling their limited edition Wallace and Gromit bake.
Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Culture, Cllr Nadeem Ayub, said: “We received an incredible number of applications from local, regional and national traders to be part of the festival. Some return year on year and some are brand new to the event.
“I’m pleased that we are able to support and give opportunities to many businesses, and it’s fantastic to see the variety coming along, there really is something for everybody.
“In Bolton we celebrate diversity and strive to bring different cultures into the town so it’s great to see offerings from all over the world for people to try on their doorstep.”
