Megalopolis, the long-awaited passion project from Francis Ford Coppola, is the latest film to land an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA. The film finished production earlier this year so it is unknown what the agreement would be used for but with festival season ramping up it could potentially be getting one in order to be sold on one of the markets or potentially screen an upcoming festival and in need of one for publicity purposes.

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime series.The trailer was unveiled yesterday (August 16), and comes just a few months ahead of the series’ release, which has now been confirmed for November 17 exclusively via the streaming platform.While the trailer doesn’t give much of the show’s plot away, it features scenes identical to Edgar Wright‘s 2010 live-action film, titled Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

UPDATED, 5:45 AM: Netflix has dropped the first-look teaser for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (official title), its upcoming anime series based on the classic graphic novels and 2010 film starring Michael Cera. Cera reunites with many of the film’s cast including Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza and more who lend their voices to the series, which will premiere November 17. Simon Pegg has revealed his favourite film in the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy.The beloved trio of films, directed by Edgar Wright, consists of the zombie comedy Shawn Of The Dead (strawberry), the action comedy Hot Fuzz (classic), and the sci-fi comedy The World’s End (mint).Now, Pegg has revealed which of the three films is his favourite.“You know, my favourite of the Cornetto trilogy is The World’s End because it’s the least audience-friendly,” the Mission: Impossible star told Discussing Film.“It’s the darkest of the three. It’s the most challenging, and I love the idea of actually putting the audience in a position where they have to feel a little bit uncomfortable and not necessarily cozy into the familiar.”Pegg also revealed during the interview that he and Wright are currently planning their next project together.“We’ve always done original ideas, even though we’ve kind of built them around existing genres or whatever.
