Popular Caribbean restaurant Jerk Junction is offering a ‘black card’ to one lucky diner in exchange for supporting a local youth club.
The restaurant, which has a venue on Manchester Road in Chorlton as well as locations in Altrincham and at MediaCity’s Kargo MKT, has unveiled a fundraising campaign in support of the Old Trafford Youth Club.
Consisting of a raffle, the restaurant aims to help raise £10,000 for the club by offering out a ‘black card’, which will give one person £1,000 to spend at Jerk Junction. The restaurant, known for its famous jerk chicken and curried goat, also recently opened a new store in Wilmslow.

We always had things to do there and they’d get you into activities that you wouldn’t normally get to do like tennis, badminton and trips to the Lake District.
“I got into a lot of music and sport through the youth clubs, but there’s really not many of them around these days.”
Jake said the idea for the fundraiser came about after thinking of a way to celebrate reaching 55,000 followers on Instagram. But instead of handing the lucky follower a rare ‘black card’, he decided to try to give back to the local youth club in his area.
