If you're at a busy shop and have forgotten where your car is parked it can be a nightmare hauling your bags about while trying to find it.
However, you can always use your key fob to lock and unlock your car as the flashing lights will make it a bit easier to spot. And if it's too far away, there is a trick to increase your key's range.
As reported by the Mirror, the hack involves putting your car keys near your head, as it is supposed to increase its range.
While this may sound bizarre, motoring experts have said this odd key trick can actually work thanks to the fluid in your head.
The team at Dick Lovett shared how the strange trick works, explaining: "If you're having trouble finding your car in a busy car park, or are unsure where you parked it, you can place the car key fob on your chin in order to increase the range of the car-retrieval signal.
"Effectively, your head turns into an antenna. As the head contains fluid, it means it's actually a great conductor and will increase the range of the remote's signal."
The Mirror team tested out this hack and found that it worked, but only on certain types of cars, for instance, we couldn't get it to work on a Fiat 500, but it did work with a VW Polo.
That isn't the expert's only hack, another trick that they shared might help those who are finding themselves running late because their car won't defrost.
They said: "When your windshield has frosted over, you should put your sun visor down while de-icing. It stops the airflow, and therefore means the windshield defrosts faster."
