A farm that has twice won the title of "Maze of the Year" has unveiled its huge new maize maze for this summer - shaped like a steam train. Lakeland Maze Farm Park sits at the edge of the Lake District and is a popular spot for a day out in school holidays thanks to its two mazes, indoor and outdoor play and 150ft water slide.
Farm owners have unveiled this year's design across the eight-acre maze site as a large steam train. They say it will take 60 to 90 minutes to complete, negotiating the towering 8 ft maize crops in the farm field.
Luckily, there are controllers in "junction boxes" across the site so that nobody can get truly lost despite how tough the maze sets out to be. For the less adventurous there's also a mini maze designed like a station master's pocket watch which should only take 15 to 25 minutes to get through.

Water Wars joins the 150-foot Super Mega Ride n Slide at the farm park - where riders travel in an inflatable ring. There are also super giant trampoline pillow Air Bouncers, spring-free trampolines, ball games play area and bouncy castle on the site.
All of the attractions are included in the entrance price to the farm park, alongside outdoor karting, giant draughts, wooden panel maze and a 15-minute tractor and trailer ride each day at 1.30pm. Indoors, there is soft play, a climbing
