A reveller was caught with cocaine in his underwear at a three-day Scots rave after a search by a drug sniffer dog.
Muhammad Zahoor was stopped in the security area at the Terminal V dance event held at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, near Edinburgh.
The 30-year-old delivery driver denied having drugs despite the dog picking him out.
When officers said they’d need to carry out a strip search, Zahoor surrendered 13 wraps of cocaine worth £500 he had in his pants.
Zahoor appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Wednesday and admitted a charge of being in possession of cocaine.
Fiscal depute Sarah Noon said Zahoor entered the security area at the venue at about 6pm.
Ms Noon said a sniffer dog gave a “positive” reaction for drugs in his direction.
The court heard Zahoor claimed he had “nothing on his person” but previously had drugs down his trousers which he’d thrown away.
