Getting a good night's sleep is important, whether you're having a day at home or taking a trip into the office.
However, if we don't sleep enough, we'll often end up napping, causing the cycle of sleepless nights to starts again. But is napping actually bad for us? Or can we benefit from it?
Sleep experts from Sleepseeker say that contrary to popular belief, napping can be good for you. Not only can a daytime nap increase your alertness, but it can also help to improve your memory.
However if you want to nap, there are a few mistakes you'll want to avoid making to avoid feeling worse. The right nap length should be around 20 to 30 minutes long if your goal is to wake up feeling energised.

Sleep expert, Kora Habinakova, said: "Our sleep quality and quantity affects every aspect of our lives, from our mood to our concentration levels. Often people do not realise what habits of theirs are keeping them up at night or they are not quite sure how to improve their sleep patterns."
For the average adult, we need a minimum of seven hours is recommended however you should aim for eight good quality hours of sleep. It is a little different for children and teens - who are still growing - as they need a little more to help aid their physical and mental development.
Children aged between three and 12 should have around 10 hours. Meanwhile teens (12-18) should have anywhere between eight and 10 hours.
