EXCLUSIVE: Silver Lining Entertainment has signed Mercedes Mason, an actress known for turns on shows like The Rookie and Fear the Walking Dead, for management.
Mason portrayed Captain Zoe Andersen, the Commanding Officer of Los Angeles’s Mid-Wilshire Division, in ABC’s acclaimed police procedural The Rookie, which is going into its sixth season, portraying Ofelia Salazar on AMC’s offshoot of global smash hit The Walking Dead.
Previously, the actress has also been seen on shows like NCIS: Los Angeles, American Horror Stories, The L Word: Generation Q, How to Get Away with Murder, and Entourage, among many others. Other notable roles came as part of Fox’s Bones spinoff The Finder, opposite Michael Clark Duncan, and the ABC series 666 Park Ave with Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams.
After transitioning from modeling into acting, Mason starred opposite Shane West and J.K. Simmons in horror thriller Red Sands, gaining notoriety for her role in the indie Three Veils, with a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the UK International Filmmaker Festival in 2011.

UPDATE, 9 AM: AMC has released the final trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the latest TWD spinoff, ahead of its February 25 premiere on AMC and AMC+. “I’m gettin’ home”, says Andrew Lincoln‘s Rick Grimes’ voiceover at the beginning of the trailer, followed by Danai Gurira‘s Michonne saying “I have to find him.” The lovers, separated by distance, continue their quest to reunite in a zombie-infested world.
