The trailer for Damien Chazelle‘s Babylon has finally arrived, and it features a funny Brad Pitt moment!

Katcy Stephan Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter” is being pushed back from its August release, moving to Dec. 13, 2024. It will screen in IMAX and premium large formats.

The upcoming teenage horror film is based on R.L.

This August will finally see the return of the “Alien” franchise with Fede Álvarez’s “Alien: Romulus.” Taking place between the events of the first two movies, last week’s ‘Romulus’ teaser trailer helped build some anticipation as the new installment takes place on a space station (an obvious inspiration from the video game “Alien: Isolation”).

Slow Horses will be released.Slow Hands, the adaptation of Mick Herron’s Slough House novels, will see Gary Oldman reprise his role as the lovably grumpy spy Jackson Lamb for season three. Apple has previously confirmed that a fourth series has also been commissioned; its arrival date is unknown.In a press release, Apple stated that “in Season three, a romantic liaison in Istanbul threatens to expose a buried MI5 secret in London.

Gary Oldman and the Slow Horses gang return with the first two episodes of Season 3 on December 1 with new episodes to be released individually each Friday through December 29 via Apple.

Michaela Zee Ridley Scott is reflecting on his decision to step down from directing the “Blade Runner” sequel due to a scheduling conflict with 2017’s “Alien: Covenant.” “I shouldn’t have had to make that decision,” Scott said in a recent Empire interview. “But I had to. I should have done ‘Blade Runner 2.’” After being attached to the project, Scott announced in 2014 that he would no longer direct the “Blade Runner” sequel, instead choosing to helm the sci-fi horror film “Alien: Covenant,” starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup and Danny McBride.

The series debuted its second and final season at the premium cabler in March. “We are tremendously grateful for the remarkable work of Matthew Rhys and the unrivaled cast and crew of ‘Perry Mason’ for their reimagining of such a treasured and storied franchise,” HBO said in a statement. “While we won’t be moving forward with another season of the series, we are excited to continue working with the brilliant creatives at Team Downey on future projects.” Based on the characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner, Matthew Rhys starred in the series in the title role. Unlike the 1950’s TV series in which Mason worked as a lawyer, the HBO series portrays the character earlier in his life when he is a private investigator in Los Angeles in the 1930s.

Sony Pictures has made several changes and additions to its film release slate, including pushing back the release of the family film “Harold and the Purple Crayon” to 2024 and Blumhouse’s “They Listen” to 2024. “Harold and the Purple Crayon,” an adaptation of the famed children’s book starring Zachary Levi and Lil Rel Howery, has been moved from a slated June 30 release to August 2, 2024. “They Listen,” a horror film starring Katherine Waterston and John Cho, has been moved from August 2023 to August 30, 2024.

The pic reps Hill’s second collaboration with director Weitz, having worked with him on MGM’s post-World War II thriller Operation Finale, as part of the ensemble cast that included Oscar Isaac, Ben Kingsley, Melanie Laurent and Nick Kroll. 

Writer/Director Chris Weitz and John Cho have a history going back to the original “American Pie” film in 1999. They team up next for the horror film “They Listen,” their eleventh collaboration overall.

John Cho and Katherine Waterston will headline Sony-Blumhouse-Depth of Field’s They Listen, directed by Chris Weitz. A theatrical release of Aug. 25, 2023 has been set; it’s the only wide release that weekend. You’ll remember the Cho thriller Searching debuted in late summer and was a microbudget hit grossing over $26M stateside, and north of $75M WW off a less than a million production cost.
