A woman who died in hospital weeks after being hit by a car in Glasgow has been named by police as Jean Wilson.
Emergency crews rushed to Binnie Place at around 11.50am on Tuesday, December 2, following reports of a crash involving a white Seat Leon and a female pedestrian.
Jean, 83, the pedestrian, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the city for treatment. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries and died in hospital on Thursday, December 21.

Officers from Police Scotland are now appealing for information to establish the full circumstances of the crash. Anyone who witnessed the crash is being urged to get in touch.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died as a result of this crash.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who witnessed the crash or was in the area around this time and has any information to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
