The Traitors winner Meryl Williams has revealed she quit her customer service job last year after winning the jackpot prize.
Meryl, 27, won alongside co-stars Hannah Byczkowski and Aaron Evans after banishing Traitors Wilfred Webster and Kieran Tompsett to scoop the £99,000 prize money. Meryl - who has achondroplasia which causes dwarfism - has been nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for her stint on the reality show.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she revealed: "I quit my job back in December. I was working at H&M customer service. I've always had call centre jobs. I've kind of done everything -I even sold solar panels. I feel like I've done them all."
While Meryl has quit her former job, she admits her dream role is miles away from her previous employment. She added: "I've always wanted to go into TV. I'd love to be a TV presenter. The dream is a talk show, but I always feel cringe saying it.
"Now I just do social media full time. But I'd like to go back into TV, but it's just so competitive - it's scary."
Speaking of what she spent her £33,000 on, Meryl said: "I bought my house back in 2021 so I did some home renovations I could never afford to do before the show, so I've managed to get decking, flooring and finish some other home improvements.
"I've still got obviously a little stash of money as well because I need to be able to like, survive.
"I always wanted to never have to go back to my normal day job, so I always wanted to make sure I have enough money so I could like, try and ride this out as long as I can."
She said: "A lot of people were like, 'Are you gonna buy a handbag?' I was like,' No,' because I think money is freedom at the end of the day. I never wanted to get anything designer - I'd rather just have the freedom to
