Sam Heughan has teased future seasons of his hit travel show with Outlander co-star Graham McTavish.
The hit travel docuseries follows Outlander stars Sam and Graham travel down under and hit the road again for a four-episode second season – this time in the adventure capital of the world: New Zealand.The first season was a hit with fans as the two actors explored their native Scotland, as the second series will see Sam get an insight into Graham's beloved second home.
The official release adds the pair "fall 300 meters in a swing, discover the vast history and culture of the Māori, and eat their way through the islands of New Zealand."
Speaking to Radio Times, Sam was about future seasons of Men in Kilts and teased "Oh, wow. Who knows?"
He added: "Season two, for which we were in New Zealand, is coming out in August. That was a great adventure and really fun. We’ve got ideas and we’d love to do another one.
"But I guess we’ll see what our bosses say and if the fans enjoy it. We love making it. I love working with Graham and driving him mad and exploring new places together."
When the first season aired, TV Insider asked Heughan and McTavish where they’d like to travel to should the show return for a second season. “There’s plenty more to do in Scotland,” McTavish said.
“We’ve barely scratched the surface to be honest. But yeah, other parts of the world. Sam was mentioning India, which I knew had a Scottish connection, but I didn’t realize quite as much. America, obviously. Canada. New Zealand.”
