Richard Madeley has shared his thoughts on the recent clash between Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix on ITV's I'm A Celebrity, as he believes there's a hidden reason behind their row. In Tuesday's episode, Nella, 26, felt "disrespected" and "offended" by comments made by Fred, 51.
This was especially hurtful as she had recently experienced some tragic losses in her family. Nella had previously opened up about losing her father in 2020 and her mother when she was just 19.
She was upset with Fred, who she claimed knew about her family tragedy, for making an insensitive comment to her in camp. Nella explained to the Bush Telegraph: "Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad." She found this offensive as one of their first conversations was about her late father. She didn't confront Fred immediately but chose to sleep on it.
The next morning, she decided to ignore Fred before finally telling him why she was upset.
Fred was taken aback and quickly apologised, confessing he didn't realise his mistake had upset her. Despite accepting his apology, Nella laid down the law, stating: "You only get one chance to disrespect me. I accept your apology but let's not be friends.
