Detectives investigating a double murder in Moss Side have released new pictures of five witnesses they want to speak to about the shooting.
Cheriff Tall, 21, and Abayomi 'Junior' Ajose, 36, were tragically gunned down during a lockdown party held in a car park off Caythorpe Street in the early hours of June 21, 2020. Detectives said previously they believed Cheriff was shot first when a row suddenly erupted with the gunman - and moments later father-of-three 'Junior', a support worker, was also gunned down after he stepped in to help.
The name of the prime suspect, believed to be from Birmingham, was very quickly known by police and the community of Moss Side but he has so far managed to evade capture. Around three-and-a-half years on, he remains at large.

Detectives said last year they believed he had fled the country. They believe he and a number of associates had travelled up from Birmingham to attend the party and then fled afterwards.
A number of arrests have been made since in the Midlands but so far nobody has been charged. In a fresh appeal issued today (January 9), detectives at Greater Manchester Police's Major Incident Team said they do 'have an outstanding suspect' but that the force 'needs more evidence'.
A £50,000 reward for key information which leads to a conviction, which was offered on the third-anniversary of the pair's death last year, remains available.
