Police are investigating the "unexplained" death of a woman at a shopping centre car park in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Cameron Toll shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday, February 25.
A 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after reportedly taking "unwell", the force has confirmed.
At least five police vehicles were pictured at the scene with a blue forensics tent erected behind the cordon. An area of the car park, near Costa Coffee and McDonalds, remained taped off early on Monday morning as enquiries are ongoing.
A worker within the centre told Edinburgh Live of their concern after arriving to see the car park cordoned off at around 6.30am. They said: "That whole side of the car park is completely blocked off and there is police tape around the trees next to the main road.

"I saw a police car next to the blue tent and another big police van at the junction next to the roundabout. It looks like Costa and McDonald's are both completely cordoned off and nobody can get in.
"It was quite scary as I usually park at that end and saw the police as I arrived. Whatever has happened seems very serious."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.20pm on Sunday, 25 February, to a report of a woman taken unwell at Cameron Toll in Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and the 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
