Pep Guardiola praised the important contributions Jack Grealish is making at Manchester City as the forward enjoys his best spell in the shirt.
Grealish has had much scrutiny since his £100m move from Aston Villa in 2021, and has had to battle for a place in the team. Since the break for the World Cup though, he has been one of City's best players and topped off another impressive display with a critical goal in the 3-1 win over Arsenal.
City moved above the Gunners in the table with that result - albeit having played a game more - and now have the momentum in the title race. Grealish has been a central figure in that after keeping Guardiola's trust and with the form he is in can expect that run to continue.

Guardiola has always known the quality of Grealish, but has been pleased with the way the player has started stepping up and
"Obviously, he's playing really good in the fact especially not the decision-making but his ambition, aggression to point at the opponent and attacking the backline," he said.
"The quality was always there but his commitment to take a risk in important decisions is right now making the difference. He has to continue."
