Manchester City were once again left wondering about what might have been as they drew 1-1 with RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 first leg.
Pep Guardiola's side dominated the first half in Germany and hit the front when Xaver Schlager's loose pass fell to Jack Grealish. The winger's through ball picked out Riyad Mahrez who finished emphatically in the 27th minute.
After the break it was all change and the hosts were buoyed by the introduction of Benjamin Henrichs. The substitute went close around the hour mark and eventually the Bundesliga side got their goal as Josko Gvardiol headed home from close range.
