The first teaser trailer for May December has been released.
Netflix debuted the teaser for director Todd Haynes‘ new movie, starring Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton.
Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “20 years after their notorious tabloid romance gripped the nation, Gracie Atherton-Yu (Moore) and her husband Joe, 23 years her junior, (Melton) brace themselves for their twins to graduate from high school. When Hollywood actress Elizabeth Berry (Portman) comes to spend time with the family to better understand Gracie, who she will be playing in a film, family dynamics unravel under the pressure of the outside gaze. Joe, never having processed what happened in his youth, starts to confront the reality of life as an empty-nester at 36.”

The movie got rave reviews at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival back in May.
It was also just recently announced that May December kickstart the 2023 New York Film Festival later this month and the cast is expected to attend the screening.
May December will hit theaters on November 17 and head to Netflix on December 1.
