Police investigating the alleged murder of a missing Scots dad have charged a teenager with allegedly 'assisting an offender'.
Paul Taylor was last seen leaving his home in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, shortly before midnight on October 17 last year.
Two days later, the 56-year-old’s blue Vauxhall Corsa was found abandoned in Langwathby, Cumbria, by police.
Detectives later upgraded the missing persons enquiry to a murder probe. His body has not yet been recovered.
A 19-year-old man was charged with murder by Cumbria Police last month. But officers have now made a second arrest in the case.

Marcus Goodfellow, from Carlisle, is due to appear at North Cumbria Magistrates Court on April 5 after being charged with allegedly assisting an offender.
A statement from the force said: "A man has been charged as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of 56-year-old Annan man, Paul Taylor.
"Marcus Goodfellow, 19, of Greystone Road, Carlisle has been charged with assisting an offender.
"He will appear at North Cumbria Magistrates court on 5 April 2024. Two other suspects previously arrested remain on police bail. All others have been released without charge."
The family of Paul, who served in the armed forces, previously issued their own appeal for help to find their loved one.
They said: "We are reaching out to anyone who knew Paul, or has even the smallest bit of information related to his disappearance that would help us find peace and get answers."
