A mum has spoken of her shocking experience after giving birth at her local bingo hall.
Tammy Hall, 30, gave birth to her baby boy after going into labour while playing a game at Bingo3000 in Blackpool. Fortunately, family members and staff were all on hand to help the mum-to-be.
After having a big contraction in the venue's toilets, one staff member rushed to call an ambulance while another was kind enough to try and comfort Tammy. After paramedics arrived on the scene, baby Teddie was quickly delivered in the car park.

Both the new mum and baby boy are now at home and are doing well. Mum of four Tammy, from Blackpool, said: “I had been having twinges but at the interval, I went outside for some fresh air, and I had a massive contraction.
“I managed to get inside to the toilets, and I had another big contraction. The staff were brilliant, one called an ambulance, another was trying to make me comfortable. My mum was there too.
“When the paramedics arrived, I was wheeled past all the customers, on a stretcher. The plan was to take me to hospital, but I could feel the baby’s head, even though I still had my trousers on. Baby Teddie was born in the ambulance, right there in the car park.
“We’ve been back to introduce him to the staff, and we joked he’s bound to be a bingo fan when he’s bigger.”
