The 26-year-old reached a world-class level last season when he netted 30 goals in all competitions. but he's struggled for consistency across the current campaign. As the poster boy for the United side, Rashford faces a lot more scrutiny than many of his teammates, an issue that is also amplified by the fact he came through the club's illustrious academy system.
Rashford faced controversy a month ago when he missed out on a place in their squad to face Newport County, having reported ill for training following a night out in Dublin. It came just three months after Erik ten Hag brandished his behaviour as 'unacceptable' after he attended a nightclub for birthday celebrations just hours after the derby defeat to Man City.

Rashford has also been criticised for his body language and overall demeanour throughout the season, with the forward often cutting a frustrated figure in the United attack. However, in the build-up to the latest Manchester derby clash, Rashford has hit back at his critics and promised United fans that the best is yet to come from his side.
