Everton could be forced to sell Amadou Onana in January in a bid to ease their financial issues, according to reports.
Sean Dyche's side were handed a 10-point deduction last week after being found guilty of breaking the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules. A number of recently relegated clubs, including Leeds, Leicester and Burnley, could look to sue them for up to £300m as a result of lost earnings.
Manchester United have been linked with Onana in the past and reports over the summer suggested contact has been made with the midfielder's representatives. And now talkSPORT reports that due to their ongoing money struggles, the Toffees may have little option but to cash in.

Everton signed Onana last summer for £33million and the Merseyside club would expect to double that with any future sale. Earlier this month, Onana admitted that clubs came in for him in the summer but insisted he was keen to stay at Everton and develop.
Clubs came knocking, but I wanted to stay to develop further and become a top player at Everton, perhaps the best," Onana told Transfermarkt. “I try to read almost nothing about it and keep it as far away from me as possible. I just want to concentrate on what's important."
Elsewhere, Football Insider reports that United are one of three Premier League sides to have 'set their sights' on Le Havre defender Arouna Sangante.
The 21-year-old has been a regular feature for the French side, who sit seventh in Ligue 1, registering 10 appearances so far this season.
