Steve Bruce has flagged up a familiar concern for Manchester United by questioning the body language currently being shown by misfiring forward Marcus Rashford.
The 26-year-old plundered 30 goals in all competitions for United last campaign. However, the England player has endured a frustrating start to this season - at least for his club. Rashford has only netted twice in 18 appearances across the board. One of those came from the penalty spot and he cut a frustrated figure in Saturday night's 1-0 defeat against Newcastle.
TV pundit Jermaine Jenas slammed Rashford for his mannerisms in that game as he insisted the forward's body language was 'sending a message to his manager almost like "I don’t want to play out here".' And now Bruce, who captained United in his playing days before managing Newcastle, picked up a similar problem.

However, both men admit Rashford was not the only guilty party in that sense at St. James' Park. "I think it was poor, I think his body language was shocking throughout the game, I really do," said Jenas in his role for TNT Sports. "There have been too many moments like this, throwing his arms about."
Addressing that same issue, Bruce told Stadium Astro: "Application is the biggest thing for me. The body language of some of the players wasn't right.
"We've been talking and the first one you look at [Rashford]. When you look at how good he was last season and for England a couple of weeks ago, to what you saw tonight [Saturday night]. Is he not happy that he's playing on the right? What is wrong?"
