Manchester United are preparing for an important and action-packed Christmas period.
After holding their fiercest rivals Liverpool to a creditable 0-0 draw at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, United now have three quickfire games to come against West Ham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League alone. A trip to the London Stadium is first up on Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm).
Before that match, though, the Old Trafford giants will have to recheck the treatment room after 11 players were missing against Liverpool due to injury, illness and suspension - with Bruno Fernandes among them as he served a one-game ban. United are cautious about FFP regulations and they're preparing for a quiet January transfer window.
United signed Wout Weghorst, Marcel Sabitzer and Jack Butland on temporary deals this time last term and there were no arrivals in the mid-season window in 2021/22.
