Love Island fans have been left praising Casey O'Gorman for how he handled Tom Clare and Will Young's 'snakey' behaviour during the latest challenge.
On Monday night's instalment of the ITV2 dating show viewers were treated to the return of the iconic Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. All the Islanders chose another to contestant to plant a kiss on, propose to or shove a cream pie in their face and it proved to be extremely dramatic.
Following the explosive scenes from Casa Amor, everything seemed like it was back on track for the remaining couples until the latest bombshells Rosie Seabrook and Keanan Brand entered the villa.
Casey was immediately drawn to Rosie, and was encouraged to follow his feelings for the brunette beauty by the other male contestants in the villa until the latest challenge.
Casey, who was coupled up with Claudia Fogarty, was pied five times during Snog, Marry, Pie for his treatment of his partner by the other girls who were less than impressed. Tom pied new girl Rosie in the challenge as he insisted he had to stick by Claudia as they were both Northerners, leaving Casey unimpressed.
After the challenge, Casey called it quits on his romance with Claudia to focus on his energy on Rosie and confronted Will and Tom for their behaviour in the challenge. Will said it was the last thing he wanted for Casey to feel like he didn't have his back.
Viewers took to Twitter to praise Casey for how he handled the situation, as many were left feeling sorry for him after being ganged up on. One wrote: "i feel so bad for Casey. it’s not his fault that he doesn’t like a girl & it’s not helping at all that the friends who encouraged him to go for Rosie are now making him feel like shit for it #loveisland"
