Liverpool teenager Luca Furnell-Gill is currently serving a long suspension after admitting to a disciplinary charge following a heated match with Manchester United earlier this year.
The Football Association has banned Furnell-Gill for five games after he accepted the claim of violent conduct during an Under-18 Premier League North match at United's Carrington training base on 30th January. During the second half of the game, which United won 4-3, the 17-year-old Liverpool defender was seen on camera in an ongoing argument with United forward Ethan Wheatley.
Furnell-Gill was caught aiming a punch at Wheatley while chasing another player, Ethan Williams, leading up to United's second goal. He later clashed with the same player and aimed an elbow during the altercation.

Both players were spoken to by the referee but ultimately went unpunished at the time, reports the Liverpool Echo. Liverpool dealt with the matter internally, and it is understood that the player regretted his actions after the game.
The club's academy director, Alex Inglethorpe, contacted United the morning after to apologise. Furnell-Gill hasn't played for Liverpool's Under-18s since the incident.
They have had four matches since then, including the FA Youth Cup win over Fulham and exit from the competition at Leeds United last weekend. Furnell-Gill move to Liverpool from Preston North End when he was in the U15s.
He played his first game for the U18s while still an U16 player last season. He is presently a first-year scholar with the U18 team.
