Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has been pictured for the first time since her husband Derek Draper tragically passed away. Kate, 56, put on a brave face as she stepped out in London on Friday, 26 January. She could be seen embracing a friend in the street as she wrapped up warm in a pink wool coat and patterned scarf, paired with a knitted beanie hat.

Derek fell ill with coronavirus in March 2020 and spent over a year in hospital, having suffered extreme complications. Kate was by his side throughout his entire health battle and when he passed in January.
She had been open about Derek's four-year health battle, having created award-winning documentaries as well as a book about their experience. The 56 year old announced her husband's passing in a statement shared to social media. She wrote: "I’m sad to have to tell you all that my darling husband Derek
