Kate Ferdinand has left a new business venture after “falling out” with its founder, according to reports.The former TOWIE star, 31, resigned as a director of Dolly Donuts earlier this month and the Instagram account for the sweet treat business now appears to be set to private, with the company bio reading: “Temporarily closed”. Kate’s business partner Lisa Moralee remains the company’s only active director, according to Companies House, after she partnered with baker Amy Clayton to launch the Dolly Donuts cafe in South London in 2021.The influencer, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Rio Ferdinand, 44, appeared in a video with her business partners in April last year, where she introduced her fans to the cafe business.
"So excited I can finally share this with you all. Here is @dollydonuts_ one of the projects I’ve been working on for over a year with two other lovely mummy’s," Kate began as she captioned the video.
"As mums, with 11 kids between us we wanted to create somewhere you can bring your kids along whatever the age. Donut decorating for all ages, milkshakes & a place to chill for the teenagers & the best coffees & donuts for us parents for after school drop off! "The donuts really are the best I’ve ever tasted." However, Kate’s involvement in the business seems to have been short lived, with Kate resigning as a director in the business on 10 February this year.
A source told The Sun: “Aimee has gone legal after feeling edged out of her own business.Things came to a head and Aimee has launched a legal case. It’s got very ugly.” OK! has approached a representative for Kate Ferdinand for comment.
