Kate and Rio Ferdinand opened up about some of the heated arguments they've had since announcing they're expecting another child. The couple announced that they will welcome a baby girl on her Blended podcast, and also opened up about the complications they've faced while expanded their family. Kate, 31 and Rio, 44, already share a two year old son Cree.
Rio also has three children from his marriage to Rebecca Ellison, who tragically passed away after a brief battle with cancer in 2015. Discussing how Rio will welcome his fifth child, Kate expressed fears that he may not be as excited about her maternity journey as she is. Addressing this situation, Rio told listeners: "Because I've had three kids before and we've had Cree together she still gets the hump - you [Kate] find it hard to believe that I can be as happy because it's number five.
"We've had heated (arguments) - there were tears." He then asked: "Does everyone else's missus when they have a baby or when they're pregnant - just the hormones are always, they go too? You've been much better than last time." Kate continued: "When I was pregnant with Cree I was a bit cuckoo and I was so excited - I felt like you just did not care. "When there was no bump there, was no baby in your eyes for at least three to four months. "Then I just started getting really emotional thinking, 'He doesn't care, it's his fourth child'.
