Prince William and Kate Middleton “seem more relaxed with each other than ever” as the dust settles from Harry’s bombshell book, a royal expert has said. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, speaking exclusively to OK!, said it appears the Prince and Princess of Wales feel “the worst is over” following the damaging claims that came out in the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare and the Sussexes’ controversial Netflix documentary. Harry’s book, published in January, brought a new round of attacks on the Royal Family - with criticism directed towards William and Kate - as well as King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
Among the most explosive allegations in the memoir was the claim that William physically attacked his brother in a row over Meghan Markle. But William, 40, and Kate, 41, have apparently bounced back from the attacks, appearing together in high spirits on a number of recent royal engagements - including most recently on a visit to Wales for St David’s Day. Princess Kate was even filmed patting William’s bum in a rare public display of affection at the BAFTA awards last month.
Jennie said: “Kate and William seem more relaxed with each other than ever - bum tapping. Does that have anything to do with the dust settling around the Harry and Meghan book, interviews, Netflix programme? “I think they feel the worst is over. Surely not much more Harry and Meghan can say or do.They’ve come out of it pretty well.
