Passengers jetting to Corfu from Manchester say their journey has turned to 'chaos' after they were flown to Athens instead and forced to wait hours on the tarmac in a 'boiling' plane.
Travellers on the Jet2 flight LS951 were diverted after circling their planned destination of Corfu as there was 'no room' for them to land, according to Michael Webster, who is on the plane.
The flight was forced to land 300 miles away in Athens, where customers claim they have been left in 'hot' and 'awful' conditions on the tarmac for over two hours.

"The flight from Manchester departed one hour late, then as we approached Corfu the captain said we couldn’t land as they had no room for us on the stand," Michael told the Manchester Evening News.
"We were circling with three other planes. He said we we’re running low on fuel and it didn’t land we’d have to divert to Athens."
Michael said passengers had been 'locked in a boiling plane' for hours, with little communication about what will happen next.
"We were there for over three hours, quite worrying at temperatures have been 32 degrees outside never mind in the plane!," he added.
"Jet2 keep apologising, but it's awful. Babies crying, lots of hot unhappy toddlers and now some adults getting angry too."
Michael told the M.E.N the flight, which left Manchester at 8.19am - one hour after their scheduled 7.20am departure time - has since arrived in Corfu. It didn't land until 4.30pm - eight hours late.
Jet2 and Corfu Airport have been contacted for comment.
