Jamie Oliver's 'delicious' one-pot chicken recipe perfect for a midweek dinner

Keeping midweek meals interesting and tasting good can be a task, especially when time is limited.
But if you are looking for recipes to help you avoid a takeaway or a worse than average beige ready meal, Jamie Oliver has plenty of tasty dishes that don't require much fuss or time to whip up.
The TV chef has released a cookbook full midweek meal options, offering simple and affordable daily dinners for you and your family to enjoy. One popular recipe of Jamie's is his "magic baked chicken" with the cook calling it both delicious and filling, and it takes just minute to prepare.
The chef said: "Sometimes after a long day, even I don’t have the energy to deal with the hassle of chopping vegetables, pulling out woks and smoking out my kitchen," the Express reports.
Describing his culinary creation, he added: "Truth is, it’s delicious – the flavour is fantastic, and the rice is fluffy and moist."

Prep: 10 mins
Bake: 45 mins
First of all preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
Then place all the baked fried rice ingredients, apart from the vegetables and bacon, in a metal pan. Shake the pan to spread out the rice evenly, ensuring all of the rice is submerged in the stock.
Take you vegetables and sprinkle evenly across the surface before adding the bacon on top. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
It is now time marinate the chicken. Place all the ingredients list into a bowl and mix well to combine. Set aside to marinate while the rice cooks.
