Jamie Laing has opened up about the tattoo he got of Lorraine Kelly's face and revealed how her reaction prompted him to admit the inking was fake.
The Made in Chelsea star, 35, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, 7 February to discuss his battle with tinnitus with hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley. Towards the end of the interview, Susanna, 53, quizzed Jamie on the tattoo, which he unveiled during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine in November.
"I just want to go back to a moment on Lorraine, where you almost scarred her for life," Susanna joked to Jamie. As a clip of the moment was played, Jamie laughed as he revealed: "It's a bit stalkerish, she was really upset.
She was honestly freaking out so I had to tell her, it's fake! She was like 'Oh my god, thank god'." Later on, Susanna and Richard briefly caught up with Lorraine, 64, about the tattoo as a preview for her ITV chat show was shown on GMB. Asked if she ever thought the inking was real, Lorraine admitted: "He's so naughty! Do you know, for a wee moment, I thought it was, because it looked real." She added: "I just thought, my face is going to be on that poor man's arm for the rest of his life.
I thought that's a terrible thing to have! What a burden!” Elsewhere during his appearance on Good Morning Britain, Jamie opened up about his marriage to wife Sophie Habboo, 30, and revealed they are already attending couples therapy despite only tying the knot last year. The former Made in Chelsea couple officially tied the knot at a registry office in London on April 14, 2023, before throwing a lavish second wedding in Spain two months later, which was attended by many of their celebrity pals.
