Ben Shephard left his colleagues Lorraine Kelly and Kate Garraway in fits of laughter on Thursday morning's Good Morning Britain as he accidentally swore live on air.
During the crossover to Lorraine, the Scots star was showing off the costume Colin Firth wore in Pride and Prejudice when he played Mr Darcy, when Ben made the blunder.
Showing off the white shirt, Lorraine said: "Ben, that was made for you!
Ben said: "I thought that was wee Willy W***y - um Wee Willy Winky's nightgown!
Lorraine made a face: "Wee Willy W***y? How very dare you!"
Kate then laughed and put her arm around Ben and said: "This Morning is feeling really good right now and we love it don't we Lorraine!"
Ben looked red faced as Lorraine and Kate laughed.
And many fans at home were in the same state as they took to social media to talk about it.
One wrote on X: "Ben Shephard dropping a clanger (laughing emoji)."
Another said: "Brilliant slip up by @benshephard on Good Morning Britain "Wee Willy W*nky".
While one added: "Funniest thing ever hearing @benshephard on @GMB say #williew*nkie to @reallorraine omg I cracked up,That has to be a clip we need to see over & over. Maybe his leaving clip."
While another said: "Thursday and Friday mornings won't be the same."
Ben will be leaving Good Morning Britain to front This Morning with Cat Deeley as the pair are permanently replacing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who both left last year.
The new duo will begin hosting the daytime programme from Monday to Thursday next month, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary presenting on Fridays.
Speaking of leaving GMB after 10 years, he said: “I’m grateful that my extended GMB family is only next door so that whenever I get nostalgic, I know I’m not going to be far
