The Chase returned on Tuesday night with four new hopefuls looking to bag some life-changing cash. Among them was Shaun, a 23-year-old communications intern from Glasgow.
David from London, who works in HR, was up first in the team to face the Chaser first and got a respectable £5,000 in the cash-building round. The players discovered they would be facing The Sinnerman, Paul Sinha.
He stuck with his 5k offer and got back. Next up was Josephine from Brighton, who had a wealth of political knowledge as she attempted to face the Chaser also earning £5,000 in the cash-building round which she managed to take back to the team.
Beckie who is from the Isle of Mann originally, now lives in Sheffield as a beauty therapist. She racked up £5,000 also in hopes of using the cash to get driving lessons. However she was caught by the Chaser after facing a string of tricky questions.
"Five absolute stinkers there, I don't even know how you got so far but I think you're brilliant," Said host Bradley Walsh. Shaun from Glasgow, 23, was up last as the communications intern explained why he could do with the money.
Shaun admitted to being a horror film lover and had a degree in film and television. "We have a car we are afraid will break down at any turn so me and my girlfriend would love a new car," he explained when asked what he would do with the cash.
