Loose Women star, Andrea McLean, has hinted at a possible comeback to the popular ITV daytime show, four years after she famously bowed out of the series. Andrea, 54, had a TV career spanning more than two decades before she took a step back from celebrity life to focus on her mindset app, This Girl Is On Fire, and her Mastering Midlife podcast which she hosts alongside her husband, Nick Feeney. Her fans were left shocked when she confirmed in 2020 that she was stepping down from Loose Women, having first appeared on the award-winning chat show in 2007.
Yet now, after some time away, Andrea admits she's "open" to making a return and even gives some insight into her connections with past co-stars. Responding to whispers of a potential re-joining of the Loose Women team later this year, she teased: "I'm open to anything... for the past few years my answer has always been no.
However, since coaching others, the door in my head has creaked open a bit...and suddenly people are knocking on the door again, which is nice. So yes, I could be coming back to screens this year, but I'm not saying any more than that! ". Andrea spent years on the Loose Women panel with the likes of Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch, and Janet Street-Porter.
Discussing her relationships with the women post-exit, she revealed to Woman's Own magazine that while she maintains contact with some, she doesn't with everyone, reports the Mirror. "Yes, not everyone, in the same way that everybody doesn't keep in touch with everyone they've worked with. I saw Brenda [Edwards] last week and Denise [Welch].
There are a few of us [who stay in touch].
