ITV face major schedule shake-up as two celebrity-fronted shows axed

ITV's daytime schedule has had a huge shake-up after two breakfast shows were axed.
Laura Whitmore and Oti Mabuse's breakfast programmes - aired on Saturday and Sunday mornings - have been cancelled in a major change for the channel.
Both the former Love Island host and Dancing on Ice judge's shows were named after the stars and often featured celebrity guests and live performances.
A source told the Mirror: "Laura and Oti's shows not being renewed is in no way a reflection on them - they both impressed with their hosting skills and personalities. Producers are keen to keep the slots fresh and introduce a new offering to viewers this Spring."
As an ITV spokesperson said: "Since commissioning the weekend morning breakfast programmes, we have used these shows as an opportunity to showcase both established and up-and-coming presenters."
Despite the shakeup, professional dancer Oti is still a fixture on ITV1, starring as a judge on Dancing On Ice alongside Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Laura - who is married to Scots Love Island narrator Iain Stirling - was also recently the face of an investigative series for the channel.
Amid the ITV shake-up, it was announced earlier this month that Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley will be the new faces of This Morning, replacing Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
After 10 years on Good Morning Britain, Ben, 49, said goodbye to take on his new role in emotional scenes shown last week.
Cat, 47, known for hosting So You Think You Can Dance, and Ben are set to kick off their new roles next month.
